Restaurant Crescendo

My opinion of this Restaurant is mixed....I must point out that the young ladies who have the task of either seating us or serving us...are definately not up to par. The young lady who seated our group did not crack a smile...was very curt with us and it was noticed by everyone in our group. As for the waitresses....same opinion....no facon no experience in serving up to the standards of this Restaurant. I unfortunately have to say I prefer being served by a Waiter....very different experience. These young girls need polishing and education...which is lacking in all of them. Sorry!! If I'm going to pay the prices that this Restaurant offers...I'd like equal service.

This restaurant is very good. Had my husband's birthday party and it was amazing and the service was excellent! The food was very good and tasty.

This place is great, especially for breakfast, best views over the river, excellent service and atmosphere! I would recommend the breakfast to anyone. It is served until 2pm much better and wider selection than CORA and Denise (waitress) is great. We feel welcomed all the time and go there very often.

Overpriced and over-rated. Location is beautiful but other than that, not much else to offer.

over rated' very lousy service and not good quality food.Also over priced wines and a menu that repeats every two weeks.Food taste is very low especially since the beginning of october. It also seems that ono of the owners Mr. Martin Bernier has no respect for his employees and thinks very highly about himself.

The best!

Easily the nicest weekend breakfast anywhere in Montreal. Lovely presentation, pretty summer view and always busy. Usually very courteous and good service, sometimes with one or two of the waitstaff feel like we get a bit of attitude for being Anglos...but perhaps we're just projecting that on a very busy and harried waitress. Overall, really enjoy it, and make it a point to bring out of town visitors there for breakfast. Breakfast prices would be comparable to Chez Cora, but wider selection and nicer presentation.

On June 6th I was at a function for the McGill Institute for learning in Retirement [lunch] and I was very disappointed. The salad was old and wilted,

The main coarse was all right and desert was
a crepe filled with strawberries and a very bland custard.
What was so disappointing was a half filled glass of white wine was 10 dollars.

Very nice place. the food is great. Service is really good but when it's bus, don't expect top service. When we went, it was packed and service and food were great... Beautiful view of the river. I recommand this plave to anyone..

I *live* just up the Street From this restraunt,It's atmosphere is beautiful especially at night time.If you want to take your girl to a nice place i recommend it 100%.The BreakFast is amazing and yes there is line ups for this place but the lines go pretty quick.I go there every week end for breakfast with friends.

I have been to Crescendo several time and have always found the atmosphere, the service and the food very good. The location is beautiful, right on the water, and in summer, you can sit on the screened-in terrace.

the chef is innovative and obviously loves what he does.

I recommend this restaurant and the Sunday brunch. But get there early! there are lineups for this fantastic adventure.

Crescendo is a wonderful place. Not only are the atmosphere and decor very nice and relaxing, but the food and the service - and the prices - are excellent. Kudos to the chef!

Sunday brunch is a must taste. Get there early though because the lineup goes on forever.

Breakfast at Crescendo's was the best I ever had. Food was exceptional and very well presented, service was fast and frendly, great view, nice decor, clean, and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
